International restaurant brand, Sumosan brings contemporary Japanese cuisine to the exclusive Marassi beach resort, Bahrain, close by to Marassi Galleria Mall.

Firmly established in fashionable dining capitals from London and Berlin to Doha and Riyadh, the newly-launched restaurant offers refined and intimate private dining. Alongside, relaxed bar lounge areas with sleek DJ booths for turning up evening vibes, and a scenic terrace with stunning sea views.

The freshest, perfectly prepared seafood such as sushi, flamed sashimi and lobster salad can be enjoyed in a gentle atmosphere of fine, warm wood veneer under simple but striking cream and leaf-green low lighting. 

Project Brief

Sound Division was appointed by the client to supply and install a high-quality sound system to perfectly complement the interior design aesthetic. All equipment was to be shipped from the UK to Bahrain, appointing a local Project Manager and installation team, and flying our specialist team out for the commissioning process.

Zoning and sonic capability at all required levels

The brief also called for full zoning and versatile sonic capability at all required levels, from background ambience to foreground dynamics, which would cater for both DJs and live performances.

System Solution

Sound Division specified a system consisting of Martin Audio CDD series speakers, powered by Powersoft amplification and controlled by BSS Soundweb. Two Pioneer DJ systems were also supplied for the bar and restaurant.
