L’ETO Caffes
The Client
L’ETO Caffe is a sophisticated, high-design restaurant concept, offering all-day dining in the affluent thoroughfares of Chelsea, Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Mayfair.
Launched in Dubai in 2016, it’s fusion brand of modern comfort and luxurious, light-filled neo-classical interiors now extends to 40 restaurants across 7 countries.
In London, the L’ETO experience can be found in a dozen locations, from South Molton Street and Wardour Street to Brompton Road, and its latest site in Covent Garden.
Project Brief
Upon recommendation, Sound Division was initially asked to supply and install a sound system for L’ETO’s new-build site at Wardour Street.
Sound Division was subsequently retained to provide music systems for each new site as L’ETO Caffe continues expanding across central London.
The brief called for discreet speaker positioning, high sound clarity, and versatile, easy to use sound management.
System Solution
In keeping with the L’ETO brand of distinctive restaurant environments, Martin Audio CDD6 loudspeakers were chosen for their compact size and dynamic, sonic performance.
Powersoft Quattrocanali 2404 4-channel amplifiers, together with a BSS Soundweb Blu50 or 100 digital sound management processor, were specified and configured for driving the speaker system.
Instant finger-touch control
Sound Division also provided each restaurant site with a custom-designed iPad remote with a GUI (graphical user interface) control panel. Authorised staff have instant finger-touch control of music sources, such as playlists, live DJ or a music streaming app.
The iPad also gives selected routing to designated customer zones such as specific dining areas, stairs, lobby or restroom spaces.
The Result
Sasha Debenko, L’ETO Group Operations Manager said, “We are all very pleased with the sound systems that Sound Division have installed at our growing number of restaurants at high-end London locations. Having a really good background music system is an important part of creating a great atmosphere for our customers’ dining experience.”
