Upmarket art deco and Parisian vibe

Between Chelsea’s Kings Road and Brompton Road can be found the apple green awnings and satin black exterior of Le Petit Beefbar.

A venue created by concept restaurateur, Riccardo Giraudi, whose upmarket brand operates in over 30 global capitals from Monaco, Paris and St Moritz to Budapest, New York, Hong Kong and Dubai.

Le Petit Beefbar is a 3-storey townhouse offering pre-dinner drinks and fine-dining to the SW3 and Pimlico set. Fusing bold art deco design with a distinct Parisian vibe within its warm lit, wood-panelled interior, this stylish venue features a private dining room as well as lounge bar and dining areas throughout.

Project Brief

Sound Division was recommended to supply and install flexible, easy-control sound systems for the restaurant’s complete refurbishment, working with main contractors, NVB Construction.

System Solution

Easy control sound systems

Ultra-compact, visibly unobtrusive Martin Audio CDD5 speakers were chosen to provide background music for a spacious and bustling ground-floor restaurant area and bar. As well as in the stairwell areas for full coverage.

“Punchier” sound

Martin Audio CDD6 speakers were installed in the first-floor lounge and bar. The high-quality, sleek enclosures — reinforced by VUE audiotechnik iS26 ultra compact bass speakers, which fit snugly underneath banquette seating — are each positioned in separate areas and punch well above their size for sound output.

It’s an ideal combination for enabling live DJ sets, for which, “plug-in-and-play” DJ connection points were also provided. The various systems are driven by Crown DCi series power-amplifiers.

Sound management – routing all areas

o enable all-round flexibility for routing playlists, DJ and live music across all dining / bar areas, Sound Division supplied a BSS Soundweb Blu100 sound management processor — paired with BSS EC-4BV digital source/level controls — for a complete, easy to use solution.

Private dining and AV presentations

The more intimate, second floor private, dining room space also required an audio-visual system for exclusive presentations. Martin Audio C6.8T (6.5inch) flush ceiling speakers were installed to supply high-quality, discreet audio. An LG 70 inch, ultra HD LED screen was also provided for laptop presentations and broadcast viewing.
