Production Services
From its inception in March 2022, Sound Division supplies and manages the technical production, including specific, ‘Intro & Walk Up’ music curated by Tim Wapshott for every edition of The Delaunay Presents.
The PA system comprises industry-standard d&b audiotechnik E8 compact speakers, powered by matching D series amplification. Discreetly positioned around the room, the high-performance sound-reinforcement provides a very smooth coverage of the entire dining space.
For Tim and his guests, Sound Division provides a set of Shure Q-LXD SM87A radio mics, which run through a Yamaha QL1 digital desk.
To lend a gentle theatrical tone and enhance the atmosphere, a small number of Chauvet Well-Fit wireless uplighters are positioned around the room for lighting up interior pillars.
The Result
“The Delaunay Presents – An Evening With… is something of a monthly balancing act, combining first rate fare and service with deliciously candid revelations from the finest names in film and theatre”, says the series host, Tim Wapshott, adding, “In such a gloriously grand and spacious restaurant, the series wouldn’t work as well without the finely-balanced sound so skilfully provided by the professional team at Sound Division”.
Sound Division’s David Graham looks forward to their monthly involvement with The Delaunay Presents. “It’s as much a joy and a pleasure as it is our responsibility to ensure a successful smooth-running evening for this delightful series of events at The Delaunay. Especially, when the guests respond in such a lively manner to Tim’s engaging interviewing style”.
