The Event

To celebrate the opening of a sparkling new boutique store on Oxford Street, London, a wealth of A-list stars and dignitaries including Cindy Crawford, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Eddie Redmayne attended a champagne reception at Omega’s new Oxford Street store before heading to a formal celebration dinner at Aqua, a contemporary British restaurant and bar located on the 31st floor of The Shard, London.

Invited guests enjoyed an evening of fabulous food and sparkling company with a classical pianist playing as they arrived before being entertained with a live set from ex-Pretenders’ Chrissie Hynde and her new band. A DJ set from DJ Philly, London’s most in-demand VIP party DJ followed after dinner to play out the night into the early hours.

Production Services

Sound Division was engaged to provide full technical production for the glittering evening event. This included the provision of staging, a full PA system, including front of house and backline PA systems plus lighting for the stage, dining room and lounge areas at Aqua.

d&b Y-Series loudspeakers were selected for the main PA system, chosen for their compact, unobtrusive design whilst providing extended low-end bass frequencies and full directivity control.

Audio for Chrissie Hynde’s band was engineered using a Yamaha LS-32 digital mixing desk running a comprehensive stack of Shure Q-LXD radio microphones and Sennheiser EW 300 Series radio systems, providing in-ear monitoring for performers.

Chauvet Well Fit 2.0 LED uplighters were strategically placed throughout the restaurant for atmospheric lighting and a compact stage lighting rig illuminated the live band and DJ. A Pioneer CDJ/DJM NXS System, mounted on an unobtrusive sleek black satin finish DJ booth, provided the audio soundtrack for the evening.
