It's Just Oriental for Sound Division
Just Oriental boasts one of the most glamorous locations in London in the heart of Piccadilly. Offering clients a beautifully furnished club-like lounge bar and brasserie with comfortable booth seating and mellow music, diners can choose from an extensive cocktail list and authentic oriental cuisine. A magnificent sweeping staircase connects Just Oriental to sister restaurant Just St James at ground level and a contrasting, quintessentially English atmosphere. When the time came to update the background sound system for Just Oriental, the company turned to installation experts Sound Division.
According to Sound Division, David Graham, Just Oriental's needs were straightforward. "The whole system needed refreshing and updating. Some equipment was completely replaced, some was refurbished, and we also added several new elements to the system in order to give Just Oriental more options and more flexibility in how they choose to run it."
The new equipment included a pair of JBL Control 28 monitor speakers, and four of the original B&W CCM65 ceiling speakers were replaced. Also new to the system were a Cloud Z4 four-zone mixer and a Cloud CX-A4 multi-channel amp, enabling Sound Division to create a multi-zoned system across three separate areas: the restaurant which requires low-level background music; the bar/lounge area which is louder; and a third quieter lounge area which offers a more mellow atmosphere than the lively cocktail bar. Source material is delivered via a 4GB Apple iPod Nano.
Just Restaurant's Vicky O'Hare was delighted with the service provided by Sound Division.
