Neatly carved out beneath central London’s Tavistock Hotel, Tavistock Square is the well-known Bloomsbury Lanes & Kingpin Suite – the lively all-day, late-night bowling venue with DJs, live music and karaoke rooms.

First opened in 2005, Bloomsbury Lanes soon became a popular destination for a spirited crowd of young professionals and students, and is also home to Ray’s Pizza diner. With its blend of hip indie bands and club promotion nights, Bloomsbury fast gained a reputation for “wild” club boozy nights out.

Las Vegas style interior

The Kingpin suite, which opened in 2007, is Bloomsbury Lanes private bowling alley and event space. It’s a smart nod to 90s grunge, uniquely blended with a Las Vegas style interior, featuring 5 lanes of bowling, as well as karaoke, dance floor, lounge, and a marble-topped bar.

Since its launch, Bloomsbury Lanes continues to be a long-standing client of Sound Division, who has masterminded and completed a number of audio/sound, lighting and video fit-outs with upgrades over the last two decades.
