Sweaty Betty, award-winning women’s fitness wear store, first opened in London’s fast evolving Notting Hill nearly twenty years ago. Renowned for its eye-catching, high-quality collections for gym, yoga, running and swimming, the “fitness, fashion and adventure” brand now boasts more than thirty boutiques across the UK and in the US.
Project Brief
Sound Division was recently called upon to provide two compact sound reinforcement music systems for their London SW6 head office. The first system would be installed in an informal, multi-purpose space used for meetings and presentations during the day, and as an aerobics studio during lunch breaks and after work.
System Solution
Sound Division installed a pair of JBL Control 25 speakers powered by a Cloud MPA-240 Mixer Amplifier, through which the audio was fed from an existing projection screen system.
The second small background music system was installed in the staff canteen and cafeteria areas, and comprised of four JBL Control 25 speakers powered by a Crown XLI800 Amplifier, and source fed from a Sonos HiFi Wireless Music System. The Sonos system also allows for staff to plug in and play their own music from their personal media players and mobile devices.
